Evergreen…Ever Sun…Ever Moon

Written by Jonathan Wilson

Produced by
Renovated Reality Theatre Company/RRTC

In cooperation with ONSTAGE in Bedford

He works at a funeral home.  She’s attending a funeral.  What are the chances that these two would meet again, years later, and form a bond?  Inspired by the poetry of Pablo Neruda, “Evergreen…Ever Moon…Ever Sun”/A Love Story in Two Acts, explores the probability of improbable love.  Is our life’s pattern formed by destiny/fate, human choices, or a combination of both? Do you believe in the concept of a “Soul Mate”?  Is finding true love something that should come easily, or should one have to muster the courage and take a risk to experience true love?

Is true love a fact or a fairy tale?  Although “Evergreen” doesn’t attempt to completely answer these questions, it does introduce us to two people who’s paths cross and try, together, to find the answers.

Don’t miss this World Premiere of Jonathan Wilson’s love story!

A Theatre Troupe attempting to perform a British farce entitled “Nothing On” has only one night until they open. During the first act, the audience is opened up to the stresses the outrageous characters are put through while going through the motions of their final rehearsal. The second act gives the audience a back stage view of the production slowly falling apart during a performance. And the third and final act is the widely funny conclusion as the play falls during its closing night.

A View from the Bridge

Written by Arthur Miller

Produced by Renovated Reality Theatre Company/RRTC

In cooperation with ONSTAGE in Bedford

Although “A View from the Bridge” is set in the late 1950’s, it is a story of love and tragedy that could easily take place today.  It is in fact: “A modern drama of an American tragedy”. A gripping story, set in New York City, “View” is the story of an admirable immigrant longshoreman, his family and the niece he cares for. Conflict ensues when he takes-in two of his wife’s cousins, illegal alien waterfront workers. Suspicion and rivalry sparks jealousy when a romance blossoms between the niece and one of the cousins of whom he does not approve. Questions of loyalties and hidden motivations lead to a climactic conclusion.
